If you can’t find the answer to your question in the FAQs section or the Program User Guides, sending an email to the email support hotline is generally the fastest way to get help with most of your technical problems and questions.


Preparing for Installation

• IMPORTANT! Make sure you first uninstall any other anti-virus and firewall programs from your computer. (This can be done easily through the “Add/Remove Program” feature in the Control Panel of your Windows operating system.) Some firewalls are not compatible with each other, and having multiple anti-virus programs installed on the same PC can cause conflicts and will likely cause your system to run very slowly.

• You must be connected to the Internet to install and activate the INVISUS programs.

• If you are running Windows 98/Windows ME and have SBC, Bell South or SBC Yahoo! as your ISP, PLEASE CONTACT the technical support department before installing the software.


Installation Instructions


If you are installing with a CD:

• Insert the INVISUS CD into your CD-ROM drive.
• From the main screen, click on “Install Now”.
• Click "I Agree to the License Agreement".
• Follow the on-screen prompts.

If you are installing from the Web:

• Click on the link to download the program.
• Choose to Open or Run the software when asked.
• After it is done downloading, it will bring the main Install screen up.
• Click on "Install Now"
• Click "I Agree to the License Agreement".
• Follow the on-screen prompts.

This is a 4 STEP installation process. Be sure to FINISH ALL 4 STEPS before stopping.

The INVISUS programs are defaulted to install properly. Just click NEXT, OK, CONTINUE and FINISH on each of the installation screens.


Step 1: Install INVISUS® AntiSpyware

 • Click on the Next, OK, and Finish as indicated. This program will automatically close itself and place a desktop icon on your screen when finished installing.



Step 2: Install INVISUS® BigFix

• Click on the Next, OK, and Finish as indicated.
• When installed, you DO NOT NEED to go through the Tutorial for this program.
• Close the INVISUS BigFix program after it is installed.



Step 3: Install INVISUS® Anti-Virus


• Click on the Next, OK, and Finish as indicated



Step 4: Install INVISUS® Desktop Firewall


• Click on Next, OK, and Finish as indicated.

• The INVISUS firewall will automatically restart your computer after it is installed.
• After your PC restarts, the firewall will recognize and set up your computer’s NetBios Connection and ask you to “OK” it. Just click “OK” when you see this screen.


• After installing the Firewall, you will see Connection Alert windows pop up when any of your programs tries to connect to the Internet for the first time. If you don't know what to do with these Connection Alerts see the Troubleshooting section of this site.
